Fall 2013 Update on Kodaly Courses -
If you have ever considered going back to get Kodaly
Levels and Certification, (and you should- it's awesome!) now is the time to
start preparing. Kodaly of the Ozarks in
partnership with Evangel University will be hosting Kodaly Levels training
again June 22-July 3, 2014. Evangel
University has launched their Master’s In Music Education and is including
these courses as part of the required curriculum. You can either take the Kodaly courses for
graduate credit hours or you can take the course just as enrichment for
non-credit. Graduate credit hours can be
applied to a master’s program at Evangel University or you can transfer the
credits to another institution.
Undergraduate students are able to dual-enroll in these courses for
graduate level credit. If you are interested
and have questions/concerns, you can contact myself at the listed contact
information or Dr. Richard Honea and/or Dr. Michael Kolstad at Evangel University
– 417-865-2815 (ask for the Music Dept.)
Cost for is $735 per level plus $50 for non-Evangel students. This is extremely inexpensive compared to
other institutions offering levels courses.
